I know that it has been being cycled out for many years now, but I loved the machines that actually paid out coins.  Now, you are lucky if you even run across these machines. All the new ones just dispense a slip that says the dollar amount on it.  Any body else prefer the old machines?

I cannot stand machines that do not take and give coins. I’m sorry but its a real thrill to see and hear all the coins dropping down, and feeding the coins into the machine helps to keep a track of how much I have put in.

I agree it is nice to see all the coins pouring out of the machine when you win something, but at the same time, it is nice to be able to move on to another machine without a bucket full of coins.

You seem to be of the old school. I still remember the sound of those nickels dropping from the slots but now it has all changed and its become a mere mechanical/electronic machine!
