I’ve never been in a slots tournament

I’ve always been interested in slots tournaments. Can anyone post how they work? I would imagine you would have a certain number of dollars and whoever ends up with the most money at the end of the allotted time would win, but how is it all kept track of?

Do you have to stay on one machine? Do they give you a players card with a preloaded amount of money and check those at the end of the day to see who won the most?

The only thing I know is from what I watched on tv. You have to pay a fee to enter the tournament and then they keep track by the card you stick in the machine at the beginning of the tournament. Although I think they can set the machine up to keep track by machine. If I am wrong then maybe someone else can clarify. As I said I only saw a slot tournament on a hotel reality show I use to watch. It was for a hotel/casino in Vegas. I can’t remember the name of the show though.

I have seen a slot tournament at a casino, there is no set spending limit.  The one’s that I have seen it is just a time limit, who ever can win the most in a certain amount of time wins, usually all the players keep there winnings and the winner gets an additional jackpot.

http://casinogambling.about.com/od/slots/a/slottourny.htm does a pretty good job of explaining how your average slots tournament works.

Slot Tournaments are pretty fast and all you hear are the people hitting the buttons on their machines and of course the sound of the machines. Like the other poster had mentioned the one with the most money at the end wins the jackpot so you better have quick fingers to play in a slot tournament.

I did participate in one slot tournament on a stay in Vegas several years ago.  It was a pretty intense 10 minutes.  Pretty much all we did was hit the BET MAX button over and over and over as fast as we could. It’s kind of exciting because they have the machine set up so that you hit the jackpots and big wins quite a bit.  I think my total at the end was like 25000 credits.  The way this tournament was set up the top 3 scores out of each morning session went on to the next round.  Unfortunately, I was not one of them.  It was fun and there are alot of casinos now that hold the tournaments for free if you stay with them and have a players card.

I wanted to, but I missed the date you had to sign up for it, so I was, well, bummed. :( I’ve seen them before and sometimes they can get pretty intense for simple slot machines. Seems like fun to me!

I tried signing up in a slot tournament and believe me, it was a great experience. The thrill is really intensive!

Slot game needs some luck and experience better your experience means better money right. In other games you need some knowledge and tricks. I am also having site that helps in playing and getting some tips.

I have never heard about slot machine tournaments before, thought that such tournaments do not exist.
